It is time to move on
For the past 2 years, I have been working for a company called Xinfra and I enjoyed there a lot, I had a great time. about a year ago, I got promoted to the position of CTO, was “presented” with some management “stuff” to do and became the minor-partner.
The change was not drastic, because most of the time my role was still to be the principal consultant and mentor/help other consultants technically. I have to say that being CTO and part of the management team was a challenging role and of course, difficulties arise and I learned to manage it. Even with all problems, I enjoyed the ride.
Unfortunately, few months ago, the main partner decided to close the company down.
For the past 3 months, I’ve been working out what and how to do and today I’m happy to announce that together with few savvy tech friends, I’m running my own IT Company, and today, focused on Consultancy for End User Technology (AD, SCCM, OS Deployment, Patch Management, etc) as well as other System Center technologies (SCOM, SCSM, etc).
As expected, RFL Systems will pass through a reformulation. Website, social accounts, etc will now be managed by our Marketing team so it will not look like it has been done by me and I’ll be able to focus on running the company and technical side.
I’m currently looking to expand the company, with great partnerships (that I cannot talk yet as we’re working out the paperwork), great content on our website/social accounts, products, services, as well as great technical, and non-technical team (yes, we’ll be recruiting Sales, Marketing, HR, etc people as well)
I’m also currently looking to expand the company portfolio of services and provide a management services for small/medium companies, a dream that I’ve been trying to bring to life for quite a while now.
With all this happening to my life, I’m still a community person and will try to always bring the best for you on TheDesktopTeam community (stay tuned) as well as other places (conferences, webcasts, etc) and as you may expect (and as has been happening), things may look like stopped, but it is not true, we only have lots of things going on that will be shared soon.
