Hi All, after a while, SCCM 1810 was released (last year) and when you run the pre-req check, you’ll see a TLS 1.2 warning ([Completed with warning]:Verifies that the version of Microsoft SQL Server Native Client installed on the site server meets the minimum requirements to enable TLS 1.2 support.)
it is a known warning since the Technical Preview, and the resolution is easy.
1st, Open your add/remove and check the version of the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client (in my case it was 11.3.6540.0).
2nd, check the version of SQL Server you’re running. To do this, open the SQL Server Management Studio and on a new query type select @@version (my result was Microsoft SQL Server 2017 (RTM-CU7) (KB4229789) – 14.0.3026.27 (X64) May 10 2018 12:38:11 Copyright (C) 2017 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows Server 2016 Standard 10.0 (Build 14393: ) (Hypervisor) ), so i knew i was running SQL Server 2017
3rd, open the Microsoft SQL Server TLS 1.2 support page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3135244/tls-1-2-support-for-microsoft-sql-server) and scroll down to the Client component downloads and click on the download link for the version of your SQL server
4th, install the hotfix (quite simple as next, next, finish) with a reboot at the end of the installation. Once the reboot has been completed, check if the version of the software has been updated on the add/remove programs (mine was upgraded to 11.4.7001.0)
5th, re-run the pre-req check and the warning will be gone
